His unique tour of downtown Frenchtown will tell you how the guillotine caused Frenchtown’s founder to flee France, the mystic rites of the Odd Fellows; what might have caused the Great Fire of 1878; Senator Martin’s alligators; the Flood of 1955; the boy who fired revolvers (with blanks) in the movie theater; the old Gem Theatre; why Annie Oakley and Mary Tyler Moore slept here (on different nights); and plenty more.
