Frenchtown Bookshop – Non-Fiction Book Club

The Odd Volumes Book Club is a monthly gathering of deeply curious and voracious nonfiction readers. It is based loosely on the Sette of Odd Volumes, a whimsical society of 19th-Century British bibliophiles who met to discuss learned topics of interest to them, ranging from science to history to archaeology. The Odd Volumes Book Club will meet to discuss a current nonfiction book chosen by the group. Meetings are on the last Wednesday of the month at 6PM. The fine tradition known as “Whiskey on Wednesday” will be honored.

Meetings are free of charge and open to the public. Members will choose the book for the next meeting. Registered book club members receive a 15% discount on purchase of that month’s book.
